Impact Report

2024_ Passback Impact Reportf.png

Year 1 - This year brought us incredible wins on and off the field:

  • Partnerships: We teamed up with 25 partners, including local nonprofits, businesses, and schools, redistributing more than $40,000 worth of gear to kids and families not only In St. Louis but globally as well.

  • Funding: We generated over $130,000 in revenue this year. Our operations have been sustained through generous grants, including $30,000 from Missouri Solid Waste Management, along with support from Washington University in St. Louis and CIC.

  • Sustainability: This year, we achieved a 3-ton offset of metal and plastic items—below our initial expectations but still meeting our grant requirements and surpassing anticipated greenhouse gas reduction targets.

  • We rose awareness and educated an estimated 42,000 people around responsible consumption and production.

  • Volunteers: From sorting and cleaning gear at our refurbishment events to developing educational content and keeping our financials up to date, volunteers have been the MVPs of our team - with easily over 2,400 hours of volunteer labor.

None of this would be possible without the incredible community of businesses, nonprofits, board members, friends, family, and even strangers who have cheered us on and stepped in to help. Systems change is a team sport, and I couldn’t ask for better teammates.
